QUALIFICATION:

• Master of specialization appropriate +3 years of work experience
Or
• Bachelor of specialization appropriate +6 years work experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Informatica (Architecture, Development and Administration)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Cognos BI suite
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with change management, production control, security and user ID
• 1-2 years working experience working with business intelligence requirements in healthcare domain
• 1-2 years working experience in healthcare domain
• Expertise in designing large scale ETL solutions (like Informatica, Oracle WB, etc), and integrating with internal and external sources.
• Experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling and Data Mart design.
• Extensive expertise in Informatica 8.x / 9.x power center.
• Experience in Informatica performance tuning and optimization, software management/ patching/upgrades, and managing Informatica in a clustered/grid environment Sound knowledge of ETL processes and Informatica Best Practices.
• Strong working experience in Unix/Linux environment.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS including Oracle Streams
• Open Source and SOA data integration technologies and Dimensional modeling.
• Ability to gather business requirements from the Business Intelligence team and transform into functional requirements.
• Understanding of change control management and production support processes.
• Strong skills in new product evaluation, architecture, implementation, and integration with Data Warehouse (DW) and Business Intelligence (BI) application
• Working experience on Cognos BI suite (knowledge on product architecture, working knowledge and troubleshooting skills on tools like report studio, framework manager, Transformer etc). Should be able to carry out day to day Cognos administration tasks like troubleshooting, ticket handling and error resolution independently.
• Experience in Cognos production environment for large scale user base maintain metadata layer in Cognos Framework Manager.
• Working experience in Cognos capacity planning and performance management.
• Experience with relational and multi-dimensional (OLAP) data modeling.
• Experience with a variety of data modeling tools.
• Good knowledge of integrating the Cognos reports with information delivery applications
• Data Modeling/Data Warehousing experience
• Strong experience in performance tuning in Cognos Advanced knowledge of SQL
• Ability to gather business requirements from the Business Intelligence team and transform into functional requirements.
• Experience in architecting and implementing high availability and disaster recovery for mission critical DW / BI environments
• Team management experience , and excellent project management and communication skills
• Strong problem analysis and problem resolution skills from an O/S, database, and application perspective, with proven ability to recognize and execute process improvements
• Self-motivated with ability to work effectively and cooperatively with both project and infrastructure teams and to work both independently and as part of a larger team
• Experience in architecting and implementing high availability and disaster recovery for mission critical DW / BI environments Knowledge of other BI products such as Crystal Report Server and/or IBM Information Server (DataStage) and a general awareness of open source tools for BI.
• Very Strong understanding of Quality Standards like Six Sigma, CMMI , ISO, etc
• Minimum 2 years of experience is Agile Software Development Processes and methodologies like SCRUM, KANBAN
