Qualifications for Medical Officer:
-A graduate of MBBS plus internship and 3 years experience
-Should be less than 45 years of age
-Practice in privately owned unregistered clinic is not acceptable

Qualifications for Specialist:
-A graduate of MBBS plus internship + DM or equivalent plus 2 years experience in the specialization after MD
-A graduate of MBBS plus internship plus MD or equivalent + 2 years Fellowship + 4 years experience in the specialization after the fellowship
-Should be less than 55 years of age
