    ♦️ Responsible for operating, supervising and guiding the team to achieve daily production targets, maintain quality standards through inspections, quality control and defect management.
    ♦️ Support management with enforcing health and safety regulations and ensures compliance with company policies.
    ♦️ The role is also responsible for training and developing team members and foster a positive team culture.
    ♦️ The lead operator is also tasked with communicating updates and reporting on metrics to management and ensuring clear and effective feedback loops.
    Responsibilities:
    ♦️ Supervise, operate the lamination workcentre
    ♦️ Accurately recording timber movement documentation 
    ♦️ Training and cross-training other team members
    ♦️ Maintenance, setup and cleaning of the machines
    ♦️ Coordinate with head machinist or maintenance teams to maintain any malfunctions
    ♦️ Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, temperature, pressure) to achieve desired laminated blocks
    ♦️ Load materials (timber planks and adhesives) into the machine and monitor the laminating process
    ♦️ Ensuring product is maintained, packaged and dispatched to the highest standards 
    ♦️ Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse area 
    ♦️ Comply with Health and Safety regulations and company policies
    ♦️ Ensure ethical and environmental practices in line with values and strategy are being adhered to
    ♦️ Attend Toolbox talks, team meetings and training as required
    ♦️ Assist with site safety and security, by reporting any incidents and near misses timely
    ♦️ Inspect raw materials and finished products for defects or inconsistences
    ♦️ Quality control for all timber blocks processed and completing quality control checklists
    ♦️ Measure and test products to ensure they meet quality and specification standards
    ♦️ Adjust machinery as and when necessary to maintain product quality
    ♦️ Read and follow standard operating procedures for the site
    ♦️ Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth production flow
